Central to manifestation is the law of attraction, which states that like attracts like. By aligning your thoughts, beliefs, and actions with your desires, you can attract positive experiences and outcomes into your life. By the end of this, you’ll not only have a step-by-step guide to manifesting with clarity but you’ll also feel inspired to take action and make your big dreams a reality.

Step 1 in your journey of how to manifest is all about creating a powerful vision. When it comes to bringing your dreams to life, it starts with allowing your mind to wander, daydream, and explore the realm of possibilities. As my friend Reese from Yes Supply always says, ask yourself, “What would I ask for if I knew the answer was yes?” By posing this question, you open yourself up to a world of potential that might have previously seemed impossible. This step aligns with the principles of the law of attraction, where focusing on your desires and envisioning them attracts them into your life.
Now, many people stumble at this first step because they confine their visions to their current belief bubbles or comfort zones. This is the time to push beyond your limits and dare to dream bigger. Give yourself permission to be “delusional” and play with the potential of this world. To help you overcome your limiting beliefs, imagine an alternate reality where a twin version of you is free from the constraints that hold you back. Let yourself dream freely and create a Pinterest board filled with images that capture the essence of this new, expansive vision. Remember, this is your chance to let your imagination run wild without judgment or fear.
Moving on to Step 2 in the process of learning how to manifest, we delve into the realm of identity work. This step focuses on understanding the version of yourself that has everything you desire, and figuring out what changes you can make right now to become that person. To help you visualise this future self, we’ve developed a tool called “Future Feed” on our Manifestation app Manifestie. This tool allows you to create a private, personalised feed that resembles Instagram but is solely dedicated to your envisioned future life.
Take a moment to imagine the intricate details of your future self’s life: What do they eat? How do they spend their weekends? What motivates them? What does their workspace look like? Consider everything from their fashion choices to their friendships, hobbies, and even the colours on their social media feed. Once you have a clear picture of this future identity, create your own “Future Feed” on the Manifestie app.
Instead of getting lost in comparison while scrolling through other people’s highlight reels on Instagram, focus on your personalized future feed. By immersing yourself in this vision of your future self, you’ll be programming your subconscious mind and activating your reticular activating system to align with your desires. This practice will help you truly embody the identity of the person you want to become, setting the stage for powerful manifestations.
Step 3 in mastering how to manifest is all about beliefs. In order to manifest your desires, your beliefs must align with them. This step requires you to examine not only your conscious beliefs but also your deep-seated, subconscious ones.
Addressing your limiting beliefs may involve confronting old wounds, childhood stories, or feelings of unworthiness. It’s important to be patient and committed to this deep work, as reprogramming your subconscious beliefs can take time. The breakdown is where the breakthrough happens.
The action step for Step 3 is to become an observer of your mind. When you notice a limiting thought or story, observe it without accepting it as truth. Next, ask yourself where this belief comes from and whether it is actually true. Challenge your thoughts and take responsibility for changing them. To aid in this process, my number one manifestation tip is meditation. By regularly practising meditation, you can become more mindful of your beliefs, allowing you to question and replace limiting thoughts with empowering ones. This inner work is at the core of intentional manifestation and essential for bringing your desires into reality.
Visualising your future is the cornerstone of step 4 in the manifestation process. This is where you embody your desires by mentally rehearsing and feeling the energy of what you are manifesting. The key here is to make this practice natural, fun, and free of force or effort. Remember, manifestation should be a lifestyle that integrates seamlessly into your day-to-day life.
Find joy in visualising your manifestations and truly feeling the energy of your dreams and desires. Combine your mental imagery with physical sensations to rehearse being the future version of yourself. Walking meditations can be a particularly effective way to do this. Picture your future self while you’re on the move. Now let’s delve into the fifth step, which is crucial in understanding how to manifest effectively: Surrender. Here, we talk about letting go and not clinging to the results. It’s about not just wanting or hoping for something, but claiming it, choosing it, and being happy as if you already have it. If you’re too focused on the outcome of your dreams, you might end up pushing them away instead of bringing them closer. This can be hard – I know it is for me sometimes. But it’s important to remember that manifesting isn’t always about striving, it’s about being.
To bring your dreams to life, you need to live as if they’re already here. Don’t let desperation or impatience get in the way – this only creates more distance between you and your goals. Instead, try to make your dream life feel normal and natural.
For instance, say you want to buy a Porsche 911. Instead of just dreaming about it, make it real by learning all about the car, visiting a Porsche dealership, and even test-driving one. Don’t just window shop – act like a Porsche customer. This is what we mean by normalizing your dream life – you integrate your goals into your everyday life.
The next step, Step 6, revolves around faith and focus. You need to hold onto your vision without any doubt or uncertainty. Remember, it’s already yours. You just need to avoid digging up the seed you’ve planted through action and visualisation. Keep your mind focused, but don’t force it – this is why meditation is so important. It helps you quiet the voice in your head that tells you you can’t do it. Meditation is what gives your mind the awareness to separate yourself from the voice inside your head. Find a teacher, a course, or an app that excites you to show up for this life-changing practice every day.

Our brains are essentially 200,000-year-old hardware. Trying to operate in the hyper-advanced software environment of 2023, however, can make it all too easy to get overwhelmed and lose focus. Auto-suggestion is about intentionally programming your subconscious mind and instilling a positive vision of your future through repetition.
I experienced first-hand how a poor digital wellness can affect mental health, mindset, and manifestation. This occurred during a period when I took a step back from social media due to unhealthy habits. Even though we consciously express a desire for abundance, we often consume content that suggests fear, lack, and suffering. When I first started Mindspo, I faced so much scepticism and judgment.
