Here’s what to expect from this episode:

Today, I have a personal question for you to reflect on.

How do you define your self-worth?

To help you explore this, I’ve invited my good friend, Cooper Chapman, to join me for today’s podcast episode. Cooper is part of my friendship circle back in Australia, and in my eyes, he truly embodies the definition of a “good human”. Cooper’s story is pretty amazing: he went from being a pro surfer to a mental health advocate, which is something I can’t wait for you to hear about.

Throughout our conversation, Cooper shares his experiences that led him to prioritise his mental health and how he refocused his self-worth from career achievements to personal values. We also talk about our individual journeys towards sobriety, discussing the social pressures we faced and how we’ve managed to overcome them. Finally, Cooper opens up about imposter syndrome and how accepting and learning from feedback has been a key part of his personal growth.

If you’re ready to reconsider what self-worth means to you, confront societal pressures, and carve your own path towards personal growth, all you need to do is press play and join us in this episode!

Meet Cooper:

A professional surfer for more than 10 years, Cooper grew up in Narrabeen in New South Wales, Australia. Cooper’s interest in mental health was prompted by his father’s bout with depression and the suicide of two family friends. Meditating on a regular basis and practicing mindfulness helps Cooper manage his anxiety and perform at a high level, whether he’s competing in a contest or giving a speech.

With a low-key, caring manner that connects with all audiences, Cooper Chapman has trained thousands of Australian students, teachers, atheletes, and corporates to increase their mental strength and resilience.
